AstroTap at PHOLUS

This is informal event where astronomers and astronomy enthusiasts can learn about current research topics in Astrophysics and can have all their questions answered by researchers. This initiative will take place on September 13th at Pholus bar, starting at 6:00 PM.

Night sky observation at Palácio dos Duques de Bragança

If weather conditions allow, on September 13th starting at 9:00 PM we will host a night sky observation at the gardens of Paço dos Duques de Bragança (see location below), where it will be possible to see the universe through a telescope and mingle with astronomers to ask any questions about the night sky. The astronomical observation will be carried out in collaboration with the high schools of Caldas das Taipas and Alberto Sampaio.
